H.E. Mr. Bright Kupemba, the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Iran, visited the Regional Center for Technology Incubator and Science Park Development (IRIS) and also Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) on March 10, 2025. During this visit an introduction of ISTT activities and IRIS potentials of cooperation were presented to the delegation. This made the opportunity to the delegation to become acquainted with Iran’s scientific and technological capabilities, science and technology parks achievements and particularly the notable activities of ISTT and IRIS.
IRIS's Director of International Affairs, Ms. Mozhgan Yazdianpour presented IRIS activities and achievements in the field of technology transfer, capacity building, training and international cooperation.
H.E. the Zimbabwean ambassador expressed his admiration for the center’s capabilities and emphasized the importance of expanding scientific, technological and research cooperation between Iran and Zimbabwe, as well as developing trade relations and joint investment.
The director of ISTT's Sheikh Bahaie Technology Park, Mr. Gholamrezaee also presented various models for collaboration and the available opportunities for international companies, such as soft-landing services and joint research projects. The ambassador also visited several knowledge-based companies and expressed his country's readiness to collaborate with Iran in different scientific and research fields. H.E. Mr. Ambassador further asked for IRIS cooperation with Zimbabwe to help development of science and technology parks in this country.
